Individuals

For the safety professional who knows what needs to change and cannot make it move

Cohort programmes and coaching for EHS professionals and operational leaders who want to lead differently.

Two signature programmes

Which path is yours?

The programmes are built for two different challenges. One is about influence and proposals. The other is about leadership and culture. Both are grounded in the same belief: that sustainable safety change starts with the individual who decides to lead it.

F.L.O.W.™

Get Your Proposal Heard

For EHS and safety professionals who know what needs to change but struggle to move the people with the authority to make it happen.

The F.L.O.W.™ programme gives you a structured method for building safety proposals that land. You work on a real proposal from your own context. You leave with something you can use immediately.

  • Small cohort: 8 to 12 participants
  • Four online sessions over eight weeks, plus async practice
  • Live facilitator, peer feedback, real proposals
  • Open cohort or in-house for your organisation

S.A.F.E.™

Lead Safety from the Inside Out

For operational leaders and managers who are responsible for teams in high-hazard environments and want to understand their own role in safety culture.

The S.A.F.E.™ programme is about leadership from the inside. Participants examine their own patterns, understand how those patterns show up in their teams, and develop a way of leading that creates safety rather than just enforcing it.

  • Small cohort: 8 to 12 participants
  • Four online sessions over eight weeks
  • Includes individual reflection, peer discussion, and team application
  • Open cohort or in-house for your organisation

The framework

F.L.O.W.™

A four-stage method for turning a safety insight into a proposal that the right people hear, understand, and act on.

F
Frame the context Every proposal lives or dies on how it is framed. F.L.O.W.™ starts with understanding your audience: what they care about, what they fear, and what framing will make your proposal feel like their idea rather than a constraint on their agenda.
L
Lead with the human story Data matters. But data alone rarely moves people. The second stage is about identifying the human reality at the centre of your proposal and leading with it in a way that creates genuine understanding rather than defensive positioning.
O
Organise the evidence Building the credible case. Selecting the right data, the right examples, and the right structure to make your proposal compelling and hard to dismiss. This stage is about rigour, not volume.
W
Win the conversation A proposal is not a document. It is a conversation. The final stage covers how to present, how to handle objections, how to read the room, and how to close in a way that creates commitment rather than deferral.
The framework

S.A.F.E.™

A leadership framework for operational leaders who want to understand their personal role in safety culture and lead it more intentionally.

S
See your own impact The starting point is self-awareness. Understanding how your leadership behaviour, your responses to risk, your reactions under pressure, shape the environment your team operates in. Most leaders have never been asked to look this closely.
A
Actively create conditions for safety Safety is not a passive state. It is something leaders create, continuously, through the conversations they have, the signals they send, and the behaviours they reward or ignore. This stage develops that active practice.
F
Find and use the weak signals Incidents are rarely surprises. The signals that precede them are almost always there. Developing the practice of paying attention to those signals, and the courage to act on them before they escalate.
E
Engage your team in the real conversation The conversations that matter most are often the ones leaders avoid. Building the skills to have the hard conversations, to invite challenge rather than compliance, and to make it genuinely safe for people to speak.
One-to-one

Individual coaching

For senior safety professionals and operational leaders who need a thinking partner, not a programme. Coaching with Marieke is direct, evidence-based, and draws on her experience across high-hazard industries and her training in psychology and hypnotherapy.

Sessions focus on the specific challenge you are facing: a difficult stakeholder relationship, a safety culture problem you cannot crack, a career inflection point, or a decision that carries significant weight.

  • Six-session engagement (90 minutes each) or ongoing monthly
  • Conducted by video call; available globally
  • In English, Dutch, or German
  • Strictly confidential
